Our soaps are handmade at Trevathan Goat. We make old fashioned lye soap, replacing lard and tallow with plant based oils. We use a modern method, called "superfatting" that gives you a gentle bar. Goat milk and essential oils add skin-loving properties. To keep our soap simple, we stay away from harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and synthetic preservatives.

Lavender Oatmeal
This soap is my most favorite. Made with Lavender essential oils, madder root, colloidal and ground oatmeal. If you are overwhelmed by the choices, choose this one first.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, lavender essential oil, castor oil, colloidal & ground oatmeal, Shea butter, and madder root.

Peppermint Tea
Some soaps use peppermint “fragrance”. We use peppermint essential oil and peppermint tea leaves. And then we really doctor it up with comfrey leaf to give you a refreshing soap.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, peppermint essential oil, castor oil, Shea butter, peppermint tea, and comfrey leaf.

Honey Oatmeal
The classic hand crafted soap made with raw honey, colloidal and ground oatmeal. Folks love this soap for its unscented soothing simplicity.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, castor oil, colloidal & ground oatmeal, raw honey, and Shea butter.


Tea Tree Lemon
Made with Tea Tree Essential Oil, colloidal and ground oatmeal, this soap bar has a “therapeutic” following.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, tea tree & lemon essential oil, castor oil, colloidal & ground oatmeal, Shea butter, and annatto seed.


Hunter Queen
Anise oil is used by old school hunters to mask human scent. I won’t guarantee you that trophy buck, but you will love the licorice-like scent. The activated charcoal is said to detoxify the skin. A tribute to the sophisticated lady that yields shotgun, rifle, or bow. She is not one of the boys, she is the Hunter Queen.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, anise essential oil, castor oil, Shea butter, black activated charcoal, and Moroccan clay.

Red County Road
A drive down the dusty red county road during an orange sunset, appears as if earth meets sky. We foolishly attempted to capture that moment in a soap. Made with fir needle essential oil, Morrocan clay and JD no7 whiskey.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, JD No. 7 whiskey, castor oil, fir needle essential oil, madder root, Shea butter, camphor essential oil, Moroccan clay and annatto seed.
Inspired by the red dirt road that leads to Trevathan Goat. 

Lemon Sweet Tea
Try our lemon sweet tea. A bar infused with real brewed tea. Flecks of loose tea are a gentle exfoliant. Made with honey and lemon grass essential oil, this soap is herbal, lemony and sweet.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, brewed black tea, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, lemongrass essential oil, castor oil, raw honey, Shea butter, and loose black tea.


Nitty Gritty Rosemary
Made with Southern grits and rosemary essential oil. The grits in this bar give you a built in scrub. This bar is for those thick skinned individuals, who can handle the Nitty Gritty.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, rosemary essential oil, castor oil, coarse ground grits, Shea butter, and comfrey leaf.


Itty Bitty Rosemary
The sister of our Nitty Gritty Rosemary. Itty Bitty Rosemary is a bit more kind, her “grits” are more refined.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, rosemary essential oil, castor oil, fine ground grits, Shea butter, and comfrey leaf.


Nut'nBut Patchouli
We added cocoa powder to make this a skin delicious soap. Ground Black Walnut Husks (exfoliant), superfatted with cocoa butter, and blended with the sweet earthy smell of patchouli  essential oil.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, patchouli essential oil, castor oil, ground black walnut husks, cocoa butter, and cocoa powder.
The Salt Lick
We load this soap with Coconut oil then add a handful of Natural Sea Salt to every bar. This BIG CREAMY bar makes boys dream of pirate ships, girls of island breezes and goats of Salt Licks.
Ingredients:  coconut oil, natural sea salt, water, goat milk, olive oil, lye, castor oil, and Shea butter.

Louisville Castile

We bring you Louisville Castile Soap, a bar with a 100% olive oil base. We twisted this traditional recipe with Goat's Milk and Tussah Silk. We hope you enjoy the simple elegance and lotion like lather.

Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, olive oil, water, goat milk, lye, all natural cruelty free tussah silk.
